Info

Owasso is a city in Rogers and Tulsa Counties in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The population was 38,732 persons as of the 2021 census estimate. Originally settled in 1881 in Indian Territory, the town was incorporated in 1904 just before Oklahoma statehood and was chartered as a city in 1972. The City's name comes from the Osage word “Owasso,” meaning “end of the trail” or “the turn around.”

Landmarks & Places To See

The Redbud District is Owasso's main street area which features our museum, skatepark, and plenty of shops. April-October on the first Thursday, the city holds the "Gathering on Main," where the street is closed to have live concerts and food vendors.
